Resolute is pleased to announce the College of Commercial Arbitrators invited Theo Cheng to join the College as a Fellow in May 2022. Established in 2001, CCA provides a meaningful contribution to the profession, the public, the legal sector, and the businesses that implement commercial arbitration as a means of dispute resolution.
Fellowship in CCA is by invitation of the Board. Membership criteria include substantial experience as a commercial arbitrator, high ethical standards, and high regard in the field among academics, other neutrals, and counsel. Current Fellows nominate and propose Fellows.
Mr. Cheng was voted the #1 Mediator/Arbitrator in the New Jersey Law Journal’s Best of 2021 Reader Rankings Survey. In addition, he is listed on The Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center (SVAMC) List of the World’s Leading Technology Neutrals. As indicated by SVAMC, “The individuals appointed to the peer-vetted list are exceptionally qualified arbitrators and mediators also known for their skill in crafting business-practical legal solutions in the technology sector. Based in key markets in the United States and around the globe, they have collectively handled thousands of successful cases.” In 2020 The New Jersey State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section presented Theo with the James B. Boskey ADR Practitioner of the Year Award.
Theo concentrates his ADR practice on the resolution of commercial, intellectual property, entertainment, technology, and employment disputes. He is a member of Resolute’s Employment and Commercial panels of arbitrators and mediators.
