Resolute is pleased to announce that Judge Steven M. Jaeger, ret. has joined its New York team of dispute resolution professionals. Judge Jaeger served as a trial court judge in New York Courts for almost 20 years. He was appointed as a Judge of the NYS Court of Claims in June 2017 and was assigned as an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court in Nassau County. He served in the Civil Term until December 30, 2021.
Judge Jaeger previously served as a Nassau County Court Judge and Acting Supreme Court Justice (2005-2014) and as a District Court Judge in Nassau County (2002-2004) From 2015 to June 2017, he served as Principal Law Clerk to Supreme Court Justice Sharon M. J. Gianelli. Judge Jaeger served in a Supreme Court Civil IAS Part from 2011 to 2014 and 2017 to 2021. He has extensive trial experience in personal injury, labor law, medical malpractice, and commercial cases.
