Resolute is pleased to announce the addition of Giulio Zanolla to its New York and National Panel of Commercial Mediators. Mr. Zanolla is a full-time mediator with an international practice. In addition, he is one of the pioneers of online video mediation, hosting webinars on practical considerations in virtual mediations and conducting many mediations utilizing virtual meeting platforms.
Mr. Zanolla’s mediation career began in 2003 in Europe where he first developed an interest in ADR. He became an accredited mediator with one of the earliest mediation providers in Italy and then joined the largest ADR Provider in the country working on international ADR. In 2007 he became an assistant mediator with Hon. Daniel Weinstein (ret.), one of the nation’s preeminent mediators of complex civil disputes both in the United States and globally and founding member of JAMS. In 2008 Mr. Zanolla was awarded the Weinstein JAMS International Fellowship. During his career, he has also co-mediated a number of complex cases together with world-renown mediator Antonio Piazza of Mediated Negotiations. Working alongside Judge Weinstein, Mr. Piazza and other top mediators in dozens of high-stake, complex cases, Giulio has sharpened and refined his mediation skills and techniques, which make him extremely effective in his mediation work today.
Mr. Zanolla focuses his practice on the resolution of complex civil and commercial disputes spanning from contract interpretation issues, to insurance coverage, shareholders disputes, securities laws, Directors and Officers’ fiduciary duties, employment disputes, intellectual property enforcement, antitrust lawsuits, bankruptcy related actions, professional malpractice and product liability matters. He has mediated cases involving the financial, insurance, energy and natural resources, technology, healthcare, communications, manufacturing and entertainment industries.
Prior to becoming a full-time neutral, he successfully represented insurance carriers, corporations, and individuals as a coverage and litigation attorney in the New York office of a national firm in connection with D&O and professional liability policies. Prior to that he worked with an Italian law firm on litigation and corporate matters, advising European companies on contractual, insurance and dispute resolution issues as well as for the leading Italian ADR organization in the implementation of a European Commission-funded project for the development of commercial ADR across EU and non-EU countries.
