Joe has practiced law since 1972 and has been mediating cases for over 20 years. In 2021, after 50 years in the practice of law, he decided to focus full-time on his mediation practice in the areas of:

Mr. Welcenbach founded Welcenbach Law Offices where he represented plaintiffs, with a focus on personal injury, premises liability, business and real estate issues and estate and trust litigation. He has tried over 130 jury cases and has had numerous court trials. He represented parties in appeals at both the State and Federal level, including 11 oral arguments before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. He can draw on his extensive litigation and practical experience to help the parties in the mediation process understand the strengths and weakness of their positions, while exploring options for resolution.
