Judge Dorse brings over four decades of legal experience, including serving 29 years on the Memphis Municipal Court bench. She fulfilled sixteen of those years in a unique role as the Administrative Municipal Judge, serving in a pivotal role implementing policies and overseeing the operations of the Memphis Municipal Court Office.

She is well-known for her firm commitment to fairness, integrity, and judicial independence, and has earned the respect and reputation as a thoughtful and impartial jurist. These outstanding traits have resulted in her being a preferred legal educator at the prestigious National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada, contributing to the development of judicial excellence nationwide.

Her deep knowledge of the law, coupled with her calm demeanor and ability to navigate complex legal matters, makes Judge Dorse a trusted and effective professional.
