About Resolute’s Diversity and Inclusion Program

Resolute maintains a diverse pool of qualified and highly skilled neutrals who are selected from a broad cross-section of people, diverse in race, culture, gender, age and background. Resolute is committed to diversifying its pool of qualified neutrals and actively recruits mediators and arbitrators from the bench, professional organizations, other ADR training providers, as well as recommendations from its clients and neutral panel members.

Resolute currently administers national programs in which a diverse panel must be presented on each case for consideration. In addition, since 2010 we have served as the administrator of the Conflict Resolution Diversity Initiative (CRDI) program established by Capital University. The CRDI was designed to increase participation among minorities as mediators and arbitrators in employment ADR proceedings. Offering a Diverse panel of qualified neutrals increases the effectiveness of Resolute’s ADR programs. The Conflict Resolution Diversity Initiative (CRDI) pilot program expanded as the Neutral Diversity Alliance (www.ndaneutrals.com).

Resolute’s goal is to promote the use of a diverse panel of neutrals to law firms, corporations, and insurance carriers. In order to measure D&I progress, Resolute provides a Diversity Utilization Report so clients can measure how often a D&I panel is being selected, and how often a D&I panelist is being selected.

Over 1,000 Resolute panelists are women and/or are racially and ethnically diverse. This is 36% of Resolute’s national panel and is represented in all 50 states. In addition, Resolute is the only ADR provider to be certified by RING. Recognizing Inclusion for the Next Generation (RING) offers a gold standard to identify, promote, and celebrate qualifying organizations. This achievement is awarded to organizations demonstrating an ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
