Michael Starr joins Resolute as an Employment/Commercial Mediator & Arbitrator throughout Metro New York

Resolute is pleased to announce that Michael Starr has joined Resolute as a full-time mediator and arbitrator throughout the New York City, Nassau County and the New York Metro area. Michael has over 30-year’s experience in complex civil litigation, concentrating on employment and labor-related lawsuits, but extending as well to a full range of commercial matters.

A fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Mr. Starr has served as a court-appointed mediator or early neutral evaluator for 25 years for federal and state courts in New York City. He is well respected professionally by both sides of the bar and is known for his effectiveness in helping the parties achieve a resolution of their disputes. He was selected by Chambers for labor and employment and voted into The Best Lawyers in America, Labor Law – Management, Litigation – Labor and Employment, 2008 to date; Employment Law – Management, 2016 to date. In addition, he was selected as a New York Super Lawyers from 2006 to date. He has written and presented on mediation, including a course sponsored by the Practicing Law Institute on “Mediation Advocacy: Strategies for Effective & Ethical Lawyering,”
