Feinman joins Resolute after serving for sixteen years as a justice of the New York State Supreme Court of Nassau County. (2004-2020) Judge Feinman has extensive experience litigating and presiding over a wide array of civil disputes, and has developed a reputation for settling difficult cases.
While a Supreme Court Justice, he presided over a multitude of settlements involving personal injury, medical/dental malpractice, nursing home, labor law, business and real estate matters as well as an extensive variety of tort cases.
Feinman’s experience on the bench, combined with the time spent in private practice trying cases as both a defense attorney and plaintiff’s attorney, has given him a broad range of knowledge in numerous areas of the law and the ability to understand all sides and aspects of the cases he mediates. Judge Feinman employs a combination of facilitative and evaluative mediation, supplemented by his 45 + years experience as a litigator and judge.
